Heat to boiling point while constantly stirring and boil for 1 minute. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes and distribute into sterile Petri dishes . To prepare blood plates for hemolysis studies, add 5-10% of desfibrinated sterile blood to the sterile medium and cooled to 45 ºC ·
